New · Literacy Lab

From screener results to tomorrow's reading lesson.

Built for Georgia's Early Literacy Act. Structured-literacy assistants for teachers and coaches — staff only, group-level inputs, never student names.

Truly decodable

Every passage is checked word-by-word against your scope and sequence.

Privacy first

Student-info warnings and one-click anonymize on every form.

Science of reading

No three-cueing. Explicit, systematic, cumulative.

How the checker works

Every word, checked against what you've taught.

  1. 1. Pick the pattern. Say your group is on short a (CVC).
  2. 2. Heart words are underlined. "the" can't be sounded out yet, but it's been taught, so it's allowed and marked.
  3. 3. Untaught words are flagged. "cake" needs silent-e, which this group hasn't learned. The checker catches it, every time, without AI guessing.
  4. 4. Swap in one click. Replace a flagged word with a decodable one and watch the score climb.
Target: short a · CVC86% decodable
